About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Agritech in Chattishgarh, responsible for managing the procurement of agricultural products and supplies, with a focus on optimizing costs, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives, including managing PnL and driving sales growth
* Source and procure high-quality agricultural products and supplies from reputable suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to achieve best value
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, farmers, and other stakeholders to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain
* Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and trading, to align procurement activities with business needs and market trends
* Analyze market data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sales, or trading in the agriculture industry, with a proven track record of success
* Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations, with experience in managing PnL and driving business growth
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
* Bachelor\'s degree in agriculture, business, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the agricultural industry and market trends
